COVID-19 Information

A week ago the Saskatchewan government made some changes to the guidelines for places of worship. We are thankful that this will allow us to begin to host some services in our building while still doing our best to keep everyone healthy. We will also begin to livestream our services on Sunday mornings starting at 10:30 am. Please click on the worship together link for more information about attending a service (added August 14, 2020).

We continue to take steps to returning to in-person worship services. We recognize that people have various opinions on when this should happen, as well as different comfort levels with when they will feel safe about returning to a worship gathering. As followers of Christ we do have responsibilities towards one another as well as respecting the authorities God has put in place. Returning to church services will not be without some challenges for all of us. It will also require cooperation and patience to abide by the guidelines set out for places of worship (added June 21, 2020).

Church services and regular ministries are currenty suspended due to the public health emergency. As people of faith we know that God will guide us through this challenging time. In respect for our governing authorities and in cosideration of the people around us we ask that our people would honour the health guidelines that have been put in place in terms of issolation and social distancing.

People Requiring Assistance

If you are in issolation or are unable to obtain necessary items a team of volunteers is ready to help you get your groceries, run errrands, etc. Please contact Taylor Hintz or the church office if you need help with this.

How Can I Give?

The church will have ongoing expenses and ministry commitments to fulfill. Offerings may be made through e-transfers: donations@hbcyorkton.ca. Cheques may be mailed. If you would like to drop off a donation you may leave it by following the instructions on the door to the usher room located in the fellowship room (just beside the mailboxes). You may want to call ahead to make sure the front door will be open.
